Do you see the design flaw? Since this is a Chop Cup, it means that the cup itself will be upside down most of the time. So why is the skull design on the cup not upside down as well?
Doesn't it look better? How is this overlook in the design phase of a product?
The same hold true for most paddles which have an image on the paddle. Like this one!

That's a good observation, but what they should've done is had the skull facing each way on opposite sides.
Good point, Roland. It's because this, and the paddle, are for magicians to wank off to in front of the mirror.

Except that it's supposed to be a cup, just a simple cup turned upside down. Calling it a cup, chalice, goblet or similar would suggest a default orientation. If the image is the right way up when the cup is upside down then it's obviously not a simple cup.
If it were produced the way you suggest then it moves a way from the thing that I'm using and heads towards thing made for this.
I agree with magnus- it's a cup and the skull is in the right place. if you wish to say to the audience - this is a cup designed to do a magic trick where I hide a ball you may as well get a dragon stenciled on the side of it. it's a cup from his/her collection of gothic things and cups are not supposed to be upside down so therefore the skull should not be as you have photoshopped
